Things to do in Vegas Memorial Day Weekend 2015

Las Vegas Memorial Day Weekend 2015It’s Memorial Day weekend and you’re in Vegas. That means there is a ton of fun events from which to choose. Our Downtown Las Vegas hotel, Oasis near the Fremont Street Experience, is located right next to it all. Grab your sunscreen and a cold beer. Here is your guide to a fabulous Vegas Memorial Day weekend.

1st Annual Locals Only Beer Festival

This craft brew fest only features brewers from Las Vegas, like CraftHaus, Big Dogs, Bad Beat and more. There will be live music and DJs, food vendors and a local brew competition. Tickets are $25 and the event takes place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, May 26.

Punk Rock Bowling

This punk festival takes over Fremont Street and Downtown bars for four days, May 22 through May 25. Bands from all over the country take the stage, including the legendary Dropkick Murphys and Rancid. Catch comedy shows, a two-day bowling festival, hotel pool parties and more. Be sure to check ticket availability, because many tickets have started selling out.

Strip Casino Parties

If pool parties and nightclubs are more your thing, the Strip is just a short cab drive away from our Downtown Las Vegas hotel. Stop by Hakkasan Thursday night for Steve Aioki’s album release party or find DJ Kaskade spinning at XS. Catch David Guetta playing at Encore Beach Club on Monday or Calvin Harris at Omnia later that night.

There are many more events happening this weekend, these are just a few, but by booking a room at the Downtown Las Vegas hotel, Oasis at Gold Spike, you will be in the center of it all. Come stay with us this Memorial Day and prepare for a great weekend.
